DATES:

The Junior Academy is split into 4 lots of 8 week blocks run throughout the school term.

Block 1: Sat 12th February 2012

Week 8: Sat 2nd April 2012 (Presentation, BBQ, Putting Comp and Ambrose Event)

Block 2: Sat 7th May 2012

Week 8: Sat 25rd June 2012 (Presentation, BBQ, Putting Comp and Ambrose Event)

Block 3: Sat 30th July 2012

Week 8: Sat 17th September 2012 (Presentation, BBQ, Putting Comp and Ambrose Event)

Block 4: Sat 22nd October 2012

Week 8: Sat 10th December 2012 (Presentation, BBQ, Putting Comp and Ambrose Event)



GROUPS:

The Junior Academy is divided into 4 groups allowing us to easily match ages and abilities.

They are:

Adam Scott Group - For children under the age of 10 or just starting out in the game. Fun activities and clinics divised to allow a great introduction to the game of golf. Cliinics held Saturday and Sunday afternoons at 2pm.

Ernie Els Group - For children over the age of 10 or with experience in the game of golf. Clinics held on Saturday and Sunday afternoons at 2pm.

Phil Mickelson Group - For children who have a handicap higher than 14. Clinics are held Saturday at 9am to allow the children to play in the Saturday competition from 11am.

Tiger Woods Group - For children with a handicap of 13 and less. Personalised lesson time with one of our coaches. Designed for the child who is willing to commit to golf on a more serious basis.


COST:

Before joining the Junior Academy children must first be a member of the Liverpool Golf Club to allow use of the facilities. The cost for the Golf Club are as follows:

Cobra Cadets:

$20.00 for 12 months

Juniors with handicaps:

From $120.00

The cost for joining the Junior Academy is as follows:

The cost for each 8 week block

(please note the Adam Scott Group from the Cobra Cadets do not pay this fee).

$60.00 Per Block


VALUE FOR YOUR MONEY:

The payment made for membership of the Liverpool Golf Club allows the Cadets to use the facilities of the club including the course during non competition times. The fee payed to the club for the children with handicaps allows them to play in competitions as well as use the clubs facilities for practice.

The $30.00 and $60.00 Junior Academy membership fee per Block encludes:

8 weeks of clinics and skill activities
Lesson book providing a record of practice techniques and schedule for the 8 week block
Presentation and BBQ on week 8 with lots of great prizes for everyone
